Who is Charlie Woodward?
I, Charlie Woodward (a.k.a. me), was born in the USA and raised in the Washington D.C. area. Early schooling was in Montgomery County, Maryland. My Father, rest his soul, was General and President Eisenhower's Personal Steward, so we remained in the D.C. area for my childhood.
Star was the highest I acheived as a Boyscout, and my career as a sailor was cut short due to an accident on a ship. California called, where I continued my education at various colleges. Then it was off to Europe for a vacation that ended 13 years later. I beefed up my learning at Maryland University College and was then accepted to Ludwig Maximillian Univetrsitaet, a German University, where I finished my second degree. (comparable to a Bachelor's) It was then I founded thought Processing.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I became a musician in California, at the request of a girlfriend (thanks, Mary), who asked a mutual friend and guitarist (thanks, Mike Glogovac) to write songs to my poetry. Mike did, and made me sing, if I wanted to hear them. I never stopped singing, and I spent most of my time in Europe earning my living doing just that, and a little more.
I bought, rebuilt and sold a 400 year-old house in Italy (see my photo gallery), met and played with some fantastic musicians and had a real good time.
thought Processing is now Woodward Services. What began as a Technical Writing, Translation and Consulting firm, has evolved into much more in the 21st Century.
After my return to the US, I excelled at management positions in the Semiconductor and Biotech industries in Northern California. Having seen a need, and collected a loyal Customer base, I reinvented thought Processing.
At the start, the 'new' thought Processing was to provide services similar to my Germany-based firm. Since then, due to Clients' ever-growing needs, I have added Marketing, Sales and Exhibition Services to the mix.
As a result of SEO confusion (silly bots), I changed the name of the business to Woodward Services.
