Welcome to my Music Video Page. Below are a few clips from live shows, TV commercials, music videos and more.
Stay tuned, as I'll be adding more. Also check out my New Video page. There's some weird stuff going on there!
deGang Live at the Olympiahalle, Munich Germany
The video to your left (click on image) is a set of snippets from the concert we gave as winners of the "Best Newcomer band of 1986" contest. The concert is 1 hour long, but it would take forever to load, so I cut it down. Why just video of me? It's my site! I hope to be putting whole songs from the concert on the page soon, in respect for the other great musicians in deGang. Enjoy!
The video to your right was made by deGang as part of our winning the "Best Newcomer Band of 1986", chosen by the Sueddeutscher Zeitung, Gong Radio and Constantine TV. It was produced by Feierwerk and deGang.
deGang was (L-R in Photo): Gerald Impelmann, Guitar/Lead & Backing Vocals - Charlie Woodward, Lead & Backing Vocals/Percussion/Keyboards - Franz Schmidt, Stick/Backing Vocals - Jan Zelinka, Drums/Percussion/Backing Vocals - Christian Schneiderbauer, Guitar/Percussion/Lead & Backing Vocals
WARNING: - deGang Video shows Male Nudity and deals with Adult Themes (not sex related)

deGang - Ameisenstrasse

This video is of me singing background vocals for Susan Schubert at one of the many Grand Prix Eurovision television shows I worked.
This is how I survived, singing background in the studio, live and for television in Germany.
It was fun and Susan was always a sweetheart.
"Du Bist Mehr" was written by Hannah Haller and Berndt Meinunger
Susan Schubert Live Grand Pirx Eurovision
This was filmed in Magdeburg, Germany, former DDR (East Block). It was exciting to sing at the Grand Prix with Susan again, but I was sick as a dog, the poor streets on the way tore the exhaust right out from under my Lancia and the hotel (it was Winter) windows would not shut (InterConti). Still, the song is good, and so was my hair...
Latoya Jackson Live "Be My Lover"
Click on the link to the left to see a video of Latoya Jackson live singing "Be My Lover" at Bally's in Las Vegas. The sax player is Edgar Winter.
This was sent via Pay-per-view to up to 12 million households. Unfortunately, the producers avoided letting ASCAP or GEMA know, so I never saw a cent from this concert or its TV views.
Neither did Andi Slavik, who was the composer. This is your typical record industry rip-off. They removed my name once from some releases, and we caught them, so they had to pay back what they stole. We did not catch this, so I'll never be paid, although somebody obviously made a buck.
The video to the right, "Anymore", was made by Mike Raven in Munich, at various locations. I sang backing Vocals and acted in the video. Wesley Plass and Allie Schropp are also seen in the video on guitar and drums, respectively. Mike wrote the music, Andi Slavik played keyboards and arranged and Wesley played lead guitar.

Queen of Spades commercial
To your left is a commercial that ran on German television touting the new release of the Queen of Spades album "Make It Happen" Frank & Ina Lipmann are the singers, and Henry Staroste, of Warlock fame, produced the album for Chrysalis Records and Warner Brothers Verlag. I co-wrote the lyrics with Frank. You can find covers on the Discography page and lyrics on my published Lyrics page.
On the right side is another commercial from Queen of Spades. The band was supposed to be called Paradise Lost, but another band released an album with that name shortly before our release, so the name was changed. The songs, however, were written with the theme of the loss of paradise. That's the record biz. Frank and Ina were phenomenal, as was Henry. After I did the album with QOS, Henry called me in again to write and sing for Casanova.

I hope you enjoy what you saw!
The songs on the deGang videos were all written by deGang. The Susan Schubert video is from the Grand Prix song contest, where Charlie sang background vocals, many years in a row. The song was written by Hannah Haller and Berndt Meinunger. This one was shot in Nuremberg. Charlie is the singer on the left, as you look at the screen. The Latoya Jackson Video is of her singing "Be My Lover" (I am the lyricist) at Bailey's Las Vegas with Edgar Winter on sax. Mike Raven wrote "Anymore", I san Backing Vocals and acted in the video - Mike is one of my very best friends! The Queen of Spades videos are commercials that ran on German TV for the Album "Make It happen" for which I co-wrote all the lyrics
